Customer Service Makes the Difference at DEI Equipment

The job of providing our customers with quality restaurant and catering equipment would not be complete without top notch customer service. Whether dealing with consumer or commercial sales – a purchase of small food storage containers or thousands of dollars’ worth of food service equipment – we offer all customers the same high quality service. Truly, our customers’ best interests are top of mind: we never try to sell you something you don’t need. There have even been times where we’ve recommended a less expensive product when it’s the best one for the job.

When we select the products we stock, it’s always based on quality and customer value. DEI Equipment was started by an experienced food service industry professional, and we’re still staffed by the same people who began it ten years ago. We know every product inside and out, undergo manufacturer training, and ensure that manufacturers whose product lines we carry meet careful selection criteria. We began offering online service just as Internet shopping was coming into its own, so we’ve incorporated best practices to ensure your smooth purchasing experience. We have grown from offering a single product line (the still-excellent Cambro) to the extensive offerings now available.

However, our carefully-selected stock is of little value if it doesn’t make it to our customers in perfect condition and on time. We make sure every item is in stock within 24 hours – and if not, we email you a replacement suggestion. Our internal notification system makes sure that if we don’t get your response within 12 hours, we pick up the phone to follow up. Inquiries are responded to within 1 hour during business hours (9 am to 6:30 pm EST), or else on the next business day. We also offer an ironclad replacement/return policy: if an item is damaged in transit or otherwise defective, we will replace the defective or damaged item at no charge.
